The Western JV football team got a huge win against rival Northwest Thursday night, in an exciting back and forth battle that had the Panthers on top 34 - 28 at the end. Carter O'Connell had had a great night on both sides of the ball scoring a defensive touchdown, is that Archer also had a couple touchdowns, and Ethan Harris provided many big runs, and the touchdown to put the game away. Although the defense struggled, they came up big in Northwest's last drive shutting them down to preserve the win. Great job JV Panthers. This week the Panthers are home versus Hastings, in another big I- 8 showdown.
