The Lady Panthers showed up to play tonight! They were ferocious and ready to stomp on the Coldwater Cardinals; and that they did with a 53-24 win. These girls continue to amaze me each game. Leading the Panthers with a stellar game was Teagan Dean with 20 points, 8 steals and went 8 for 10 from the line. Wow! Kylie Vancalbergh was behind her chipping in buckets under the hoop with 12 points and another 3 pointer! Izzy Smith was a balling maniac tonight doing everything she knows how to do with 11 points and a fierce edge.
Rounding out the Panthers was Calley Spitzer and Lauren Nally each with 4 points and Madi Blair with a bucket. Scottlyn Stilson was a powerhouse under the hoop with 5 big rebounds and 5 steals. Boston Hoffius read the defense really well and had an impressive 4 steals. Campbelle Frost gave great effort and made 3 impressive rebounds over some very tall girls.
All in all, the girls played well as a TEAM tonight. It was a great start to our long week ahead. We make the trip to Pennfield on Wednesday to show more of our skills. Go Panthers!
