JV Volleyball Defeats Pennfield

The Western JV volleyball team hosted Pennfield Wednesday night for our last conference match. After a slow start the Panthers turned it up a notch thanks to an 11 point serving streak from A’Kierra Sanders. This gave the Panthers the energy they needed to secure the win in the first set 25-14. In the second set, Western had a few defensive errors in the beginning to give Pennfield an early lead. However, the Panthers were able to find their groove and came away with an aggressive 25-17 win. Next up, Western JV volleyball will be fighting for a conference championship Monday at the I8 quad! Go Panthers!
