The 8th Grade Boys B Panthers battled a well coached Pennfield team on Thursday.

After a strong first quarter from the Panthers, Pennfield battled back in the second to make it a 14-8 game at the half. 

In the second half, Western displayed better execution and stifling defense to pull away for the victory, 41-17. 

Western was led in scoring by Peyton Munz with 18.  Colin Niemi had 6.  Owen Gaughan had 5.  Dawsyn Baker chipped in 4.  Riley Robbins and Cooper Bruce added 2 a piece. 
The Panthers travel to Northwest to take on the Mounties, Tuesday @ 4pm.
