Varsity Girls Basketball Defeats Arbor Prep

The Panthers traveled to Ypsilanti Arbor Prep to take on the Gators Tuesday night in a non-conference matchup. It was a slow start for Western against Arbor Prep's zone until the outside shots began to fall. The Panthers hit a season high, 9 threes on the night led by Senior, Kaia Bruneel with 5 of them. Bruneel went 5 of 7 from behind the arc, igniting the Panthers. Rayah Hitt added 3 more 3's and Elly Drinkwine hit one as well.
The Panthers host Northwest on Friday night for Snowfest at 5:30PM
