The junior Panthers traveled to Napoleon to start the season Tuesday and came home with two victories, winning game one 14-0 and game two 7-1.

In game 1 Chase Budd got the win, striking out 9 batters. Ben Decker came in and closed the game, he had 1 strike out. As a team the Panthers recorded 9 hits and 20 stolen bases. Hez Gin had 2 of the hits, including a great bunt bringing in a run.

Aaron Chapko started game 2 on the mound, he had 7 strikeouts and didn't allow any runs. Bennett Luke closed the game, he had 2 strike outs. At the plate Chase Budd drove in 4 runs on 2 hits. Isaiah Norwood added 2 hits as well. 

The JV team gets their first home game this Thursday hosting Charlotte.
