Game 1

Charlotte 8- Western 5

Timely hitting for the Orioles ruined Western's late game comeback  The Orioles put 4 runs on the board in the bottom of the 5th to seal the game.  Western was able to collect 8 hits, but could not get the timely hits as they left 7 runners on base.  Justin Chapko and Andrew Parrott each collected 2 hits in the game.  DJ VanRiper and Jackson Luke doubled in the game as Luke picked up 2 RBI’s. Lincoln Levy collected one hit in the contest.  Levy picked up 2 more stolen bases as Herrington swiped 1.  Luke Nally started on the mound for Western as Levy came into the game.  Only five hits were given up in the contest but walks hindered the Panthers as 9 base on balls were given up.
