On Tuesday with lots of wind and cold temps, the #8 Panthers girls tennis team tied #6 Grand Rapids Christian 4-4.  Although all the singles players lost, they played really well and pushed GRC players in each match.  The Panther doubles teams won all their matches without dropping a set.  Winners were 1 doubles Becca Brushaber and Chehek Bharatiya, 2 doubles Kiiona Carmody and Sophia Nguyen, 3 doubles Anna Wilcox and Karly Foster and 4 doubles Silvia Baker and Anna Willinger, who also won the Victory Poncho by being the first flight to win their match.  Also winning in an exhibition match were 5 doubles of Grace Smith and Genevieve Davis who lost the first set but came back and won the next 2 sets.  Next up is a conference and regional match vs Marshall on Thursday at home at 4 pm.  Let's Go Panthers!
