Softball Sweeps Pennfield

The varsity softball team opened I8 conference play on Wednesday night against Pennfield.
The team’s offense exploded for nine hits in game one. Kenadee Golas hit two in the park home runs and drove in five runs. Amber Gregory collected two hits. Bayli Stewart, Alyvia Ott, Maycee DeGroat, Hailey’s VanAelst, and Anna Benn each collected hits! Freshman Amber Gregory pitched a one hitter tonight! She struck out 13 batters to lead the defense! Final score Panthers 12, Pennfield 1.
Game two the Panthers had 14 hits! Bayli Stewart and Kenadee Golas had three hits a piece. Golas hit a three run homer and had 6 RBI’s! Mia Messer and Kam Warner had two hits a piece! Gregory, A’Kierra Sanders, and Anna Budd added hits. Defense was me led by Gregory with nine strikeouts. Final score Western 15, Pennfield 4.
The Panthers are now 6-0-1. They will host a tough Chelsea team tomorrow at 4pm.
