The girls varsity soccer team opened conference play with a 8-0 home win Wednesday night against visiting Battle Creek Pennfield.  The win brings their record to 3-3.  Eight different players scored which ended the game just 4 minutes into the second half. Freshman, Jordan Goolsby recorded her first varsity goal with a nice penalty kick finish.  Claudia Allen, Nevaeh Hartshorn, Bella Miles, Madison Brandt, Emrick Boobyer, Kaydence Watson and Rayah Hitt each added goals.  Lola Berdiner, Allen (2), Goolsby, and Watson each had assists.  Bria Frost and Shelby Vivian shared the goalkeeping duties to record the third shoutout of the season.  

Kaydence Watson was given the Offensive Player of the Game award while Hailey Dodd was handed the Defensive Player of the Game award.  The Panthers will have a short break before returning to action on Monday as they travel to Grand Ledge to take on the Comets.
