The Panther varsity soccer team beat Coldwater 5-0 Wednesday night to bring their conference record to 2-0-0.  It took awhile for the team to get going as they went into halftime with just a 1-0 lead off the foot of Freshman Jillian Barnes.  After figuring some things out at halftime the team looked much better on the attack and would score four more by the final buzzer.  Nevaeh Hartshorn, Kaydence Watson and Claudia Allen each scored one and Barnes contributed another as well.  Ceci Graetz, Jordan Goolsby, Emrick Boobyer and Bella Miles each had an assist.  Shelby Vivian recorded the shutout for the Panthers in goal.  Freshman Ellie Hackworth had another solid game playing multiple defensive positions.  The Panthers will play their 3rd game in four days Thursday at home against a strong Marshall team.  Both teams enter the game with a 2-0 start in the Conference.
