Junior Panthers go 1 - 1 at Coldwater Invitational
Game 1 was a tough loss for the Panthers getting shutout 0-9.
Isaiah Norwood got the loss on the mound, he struck out 3 and walked 5 in four innings of work. Ben Decker finished the last two innings, 2 strikeouts and 1 walk. The Panther offense could only put up 1 hit and 4 walks, not enough to do the job.
Game 2 the Panthers faced Sturgis and came out on the winning side, an 11-0 shutout.
Chase Budd getting the win on the mound. Budd rang up 10 strikeouts! He also collected 3 hits and 2 RBI's. The Junior Panthers piled up nine hits in the game. Budd, Aaron Chapko, and Hez Gin each stole multiple bases.
The Junior Panthers make their way home for a conference contest Tuesday.
