On Thursday, the Panthers girls tennis team defeated Northwest 8-0 while only dropping 8 games total.  This improves their I-8 Conference undefeated record to 5-0 on the season and their overall record to 8-4-1.  Highlight of the night was 4 singles Ellie McCollum being the first to win her match (6-0, 6-0) securing the coveted Victory Poncho.  This was also the 100th win for head coach Brad Wilcox and assistant coach Brent Hall in the 9 seasons they have coached together at Western.  Next up for the Panthers is a home match on Monday against Harper Creek where the team will also honor our seniors on Senior Night.  Senior Night will take place at 3:40 pm prior to the 4:00 pm match start.  Come on out and celebrate our 5 tennis seniors!  Let's go Panthers!
